Her bir paslanmaz \u00e7elik grubunun sahip oldu\u011fu \u00f6zellikler farkl\u0131d\u0131r ve buna g\u00f6re her paslanmaz \u00e7elik grubu farkl\u0131 beklentilere cevap vermektedir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7elik, demir oran\u0131 i\u00e7erdi\u011fi elementlerin hepsinden fazla, C oran\u0131 ise % 2.06&#8242; ya kadar olan Fe-C ala\u015f\u0131m\u0131d\u0131r. Bu tip y\u00fcksek ala\u015f\u0131ml\u0131 \u00e7elikler &#8220;Paslanmaz \u00c7elikler&#8221; olarak tan\u0131mlanmaktad\u0131r. Olu\u015fan pasif tabakan\u0131n (Cr2O3 ) t\u00fcm y\u00fczeyi kaplamas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7eli\u011fin Cr oran\u0131n\u0131n %8&#8217;in alt\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fmemesi gerekir.<\/p>\n<p>Paslanmaz \u00e7eliklerdeki ala\u015f\u0131m elementleri \u00f6nem s\u0131ras\u0131na g\u00f6re krom, nikel, molibden ve mangand\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca az miktarda titan, bak\u0131r ve niyobyum da vard\u0131r. Krom ostenit b\u00f6lgesini daralt\u0131rken, nikel geni\u015fletir. Molibden, silisyum ve niyobyum krom gibi ostenit b\u00f6lgesini daralt\u0131r. Karbon ve mangan ise nikel gibi ostenit b\u00f6lgesini j geni\u015fletir. Krom ve nikel i\u00e7yap\u0131n\u0131n ferritik veya ostenitik olmas\u0131n\u0131 belirler. Paslanmaz \u00e7eliklerde en \u00f6nemli t ala\u015f\u0131m elementi kromdur. Kromun oksijene kar\u015f\u0131 olan afinitesi demirden fazla oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in mevcut oksijenle V kendisi birle\u015ferek pasif Cr2O3 olu\u015fturur. Ancak paslanmaz \u00e7eliklerde krom karb\u00fcr olu\u015fumu sonucunda kafes i\u00e7indeki krom oran\u0131 d\u00fc\u015fer ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla korozyona kar\u015f\u0131 dayan\u0131m \u00f6zelli\u011fi azal\u0131r. Bu nedenle \u00e7elikte y\u00fckselen C &#8216; oran\u0131 ile ya Cr oran\u0131 art\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r ya da kroma g\u00f6re karb\u00fcr yapma e\u011filimi daha fazla olan ala\u015f\u0131m elementleri \u00e7eli\u011fe ilave edilir. Krom, oksidasyona ve korozyona kar\u015f\u0131 dayan\u0131m getirmesinin yan\u0131nda \u00e7eli\u011fin y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda mekanik \u00f6zelliklerini korumas\u0131n\u0131 da sa\u011flar. N \u00e7elik i\u00e7inde hem istenmez ve hem de ala\u015f\u0131m elementi olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131r. \u0130stenmemesinin nedeni 300-350 \u00b0C f civar\u0131nda neden oldu\u011fu mavi k\u0131r\u0131lganl\u0131k, ya\u015flanmaya hassasiyet ve ala\u015f\u0131ms\u0131z ve az ala\u015f\u0131ml\u0131 \u00e7eliklerde taneler aras\u0131 gerilme \u00e7atlaklar\u0131n\u0131n olu\u015fmas\u0131ndaki etkisidir. Ala\u015f\u0131m elementi olarak kullan\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n nedeni ise N ostenitik yap\u0131y\u0131 stabilize eder. Ostenitik \u00e7eliklerde dayan\u0131m ve s\u0131cakl\u0131kla akma noktas\u0131 da dahil olmak \u00fczere t\u00fcm mekanik \u00f6zellikler artmaktad\u0131r. P ve S&#8217; de \u00e7elik i\u00e7inde istenmeyen elementlerdir.
